Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team in Paloma, at the AC Hotel downtown Greenville. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bartenders are expected to deliver exceptional service, maintain cleanliness behind the bar, and ensure compliance with all alcohol regulations and company policies.

Essential Job Functions

  • Greet guests in a friendly and engaging manner.
  • Take beverage orders from guests or servers and prepare drinks accurately and efficiently.
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to established recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, bar equipment, and glassware.
  • Check guest identification to ensure legal drinking age.
  • Monitor guest behavior and alert management to any concerns or issues.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
  • Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless guest service.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) any required state/local certifications for alcohol service.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.
Experience/Education
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending experience preferred. High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
