Duties & Responsibilities

We seek a skilled Project Manager for Transportation Alternative Delivery Projects to oversee complex transportation, structures, and roadway projects using methods such as Design-Build, P3, CMGC, PDB, and IPD. You will coordinate with teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and monitor project plans, scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships, facilitate communication.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet standards and conduct inspections.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to regulations and maintain records.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in project management, focusing on alternative delivery methods for transportation projects.
  • Significant design experience in alternative delivery or design-build projects.
  • Proven success managing large transportation projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of Design-Build, P3, CMGC, PDB, IPD methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • PE license preferred.

Qualifications

Education & Skills:

  • Bachelor's in a related field with 6+ years of experience, or 10 years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing large projects or programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Negotiation and financial management skills.

Preferred: Master's Degree in related field.

Certificates & Licenses: Completion of KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training, with passing the PM Board or ability to complete within six months.
