Vivacity Tech is looking for anAI Champion to serve as a catalyst for innovation, leading the ethical and effective integration of AI tools across Vivacity. Positioned at the crossroads of people, process, and technology, this role drives adoption of generative AI to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and build organizational confidence in emerging tools. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the AI Champion plays a critical role in fostering cross-functional learning, unlocking new efficiencies, and embedding responsible AI practices into Vivacity's culture.
This position is in Greenville, SC. You must be located in the Greenville, SC area. This position is NOT remote.

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:
- Inspire a culture of curiosity and exploration around AI across all departments (People, Sales, Operations and more)
- Evangelize the responsible use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google Workspace AI
- Stay current on developments in generative AI and translate them into actionable insights for Vivacity
- Identify high-leverage, low-risk AI use cases that improve team workflows, such as content drafting, knowledge retrieval, support automation, or employee onboarding
- Develop AI starter kits, prompt libraries, and Vivacity-specific playbooks for day-to-day roles
- Collaborate with functional leads to test, validate, and scale AI integrations where they make sense
- Partner with the People team to design and deliver training programs that build AI fluency across roles
- Host hands-on workshops and team-specific coaching sessions to guide adoption
- Encourage thoughtful experimentation while reinforcing privacy, fairness, and compliance standards
- Work with IT and Legal to ensure all AI usage aligns with Vivacity's ethical and compliance standards
- Monitor usage trends, gather feedback, and iterate on tools and practices
- Establish and track success metrics for AI initiatives - productivity gains, adoption rates, time savings, etc.
- Partner with company leaders to identify areas where AI can drive operational efficiencies and inform strategic workforce planning, including opportunities to upskill teams or responsibly evolve roles impacted by automation
- Serve as a connector across teams to elevate internal use cases and successes
- Coordinate closely with support teams to explore AI's role in enabling our school partners
- Drive continuous improvement and process innovation initiatives to enable greater speed, productivity, and efficiency throughout the organization

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to translate ideas into action, track what's working, and adapt accordingly
- Strong understanding of and ability to execute AI integration projects, digital transformation, or technology enablement initiatives
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Communications, Instructional Design or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience focused in AI implementation, adoption, or integration within a business or organizational setting is required
- Demonstrated enterprise-wide experience related to change management, employee engagement, organizational learning, or digital transformation is required
- Strong understanding of AI tools and their practical application within an organization, including experience driving adoption, managing integration, and aligning AI initiatives with business goals
- Proven expertise with LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Bard, Claude, Copilot, Notion AI)
- Strong facilitation and communication skills - able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new technologies or systems
- Exposure to responsible AI frameworks, data privacy, or accessibility standards
Additional Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to bend, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Less than 10% travel
