Description:

Architecture firm is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Commercial Architect to lead the design and execution of complex architectural projects from concept through construction. This role requires a passion for architectural design, building performance, and delivering exceptional results. You'll guide the team through all phases of the design process, managing multiple projects with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost-effective execution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Lead and oversee the design and execution of complex architectural projects from concept through construction completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors to bring the schedule, budget, and scope of work to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Manage and monitor project team assignments, budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Communicate effectively to build positive relationships with team members, clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams to generate innovative solutions and ensure cohesive design execution.
  • Support team members in navigating challenges, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment with the project's overall vision.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers, fostering their professional growth and technical development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's or Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, along with licensing/registration 10+ years of related architectural design experience
  • Experience using Revit required.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Ability to manage a team toward the project goal and schedule
  • Ability to support the firm's growth initiatives
