Job Title: Project Manager - EV Battery Manufacturing

The purpose of this position is to perform essential duties for projects related to EV battery manufacturing, aiming to establish a compliant execution framework that ensures safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing all project management responsibilities for medium to large, moderate risk EPFC/CM or services projects, or a substantial area of a mega project.
  2. Acting as Proposal Manager when required, overseeing technical and commercial proposals, project organization, planning, execution methods, scheduling, cost estimation, and strategy.
  3. Ensuring HSE is prioritized throughout all project phases.
  4. Executing all project aspects in compliance with contractual obligations, Fluor's Operating System Requirements (OSR), and the Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP).
  5. Maintaining compliance with client reporting, notifications, and project start-up and close-out requirements.
  6. Meeting project requirements for safety, quality, and productivity across all locations.
  7. Establishing and communicating the project baseline, updating it throughout all phases.
  8. Delivering projects according to the established execution and commercial baselines.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Accredited four-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with 12+ years of related experience, or 16+ years if non-degreed.
  2. Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
  3. Technical knowledge relevant to project management.
  4. Ability to learn applicable local, state, and federal statutes.
  5. Attention to detail and time management skills.
  6. Jobsite experience and understanding of construction safety.
  7. Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in EPFC/CM projects.
  8. Experience managing international projects and diverse cultural environments is preferred.
  9. Successful management of at least two medium-sized projects or significant roles in large projects.
  10. Completion of in-house and external project management courses.
  11. Knowledge of project design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup processes.
  12. Understanding of project controls including scheduling, risk management, cost control, and estimating.
  13. Knowledge of contract law, regulatory requirements, and project funding.
  14. Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of influencing project teams and clients.
  15. Problem-solving skills and ability to operate in complex environments.
  16. High standards of self-performance and accountability.
  17. Ability to influence diverse groups and lead effectively.
  18. Willingness to relocate as necessary.
  19. Basic computer skills; PMP certification is recommended.
  20. Participation in Fluor University and knowledge management initiatives.
  21. Involvement in sales and marketing efforts.
