Sales Director, covering 2 BUs, China Market is responsible for leading and developing the sales team of surface coating, brazing and metallurgical consumables, develop and execute business plan following defined strategies, drive the sales growth of these 2 BUs in China market.
Oversee daily sales operations, ensure an effective and efficient sales activity plan and execution, service quality to customers and compliance.
Work actively with stakeholders in China Market and divisions to implement standards, improve process and practice, participate the division business discussions on behalf of China market.
Act as a key member in China management team to contribute business and organization development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the business plan to ensure strategy is translated into sales and market initiatives to achieve sales targets:
- Develop a clear understanding of the industry trends, market dynamics and competition landscape of relevant business in China.
- Break down strategies into key market initiatives based on market conditions and understandings.
- Create and communicate sales goals and key initiatives to sales team and relevant stakeholders, closely drive, manage and communicate progress.
Lead and develop a professional sales team to drive business growth, ensure efficient and effective sales operations, including but not limited to
- Ensure all sales activities, plans, and programs are running smoothly and adhere to appropriate policy and procedures. Typical activities are establishing account plans, sales forecast and budget, building and maintaining customer relationships, exploring and acquiring new business opportunities, promoting new products, strategic and tactic pricing, contract negotiation and management etc.
- Lead and further improve the sales team, provide coaching and support in terms of sales skills and knowledge, e.g value-based selling, customer communication and negotiation. Mange the sales team and drive the team and personal development.
- Drive the improvement of sales programs and procedures, such as contract management, bidding, distributor management etc., providing inputs and contribute to the improvement of other related procedures, e,g supply and logistics, customer services
Contribute to division business discussions via providing inputs, knowledge and experience from China market, implement decisions from division sales forums:
- Report key market trends, dynamics, sales results and progress of key initiatives
- Contribute to global topics, e.g global account management, tools and standard
- Share the message from global forums to local team and implement decisions.
Contribute to the overall China market management as representative from sales and business perspective, and a key team member.
Knowledge, capabilities and motivation
M.SC/Eng. in materials, mechanics or related areas are preferred. Advanced degrees are appreciated.
12+ years of successful experience in sales role within B2B manufacturing business, 8+ years sales management/leadership experience of which at least 5+ years within a global organization and as a people manager.
Proven ability and track record to lead sales team and drive business, with core competencies in the following areas:
- Significant knowledge and practice of sales management (e.g. contract negotiation and management, pricing, distributor management, customer relationship building and maintaining etc.)
- Ability to cope with changes in a positive way, capability to explore and build new business
- Strategic thinking and ability to take pragmatic approach
- Self-driven and result oriented, capability of "problem- solving" and "get- thing- done".
- Capability to cooperate with different functions and team player, able to manage all types of stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication
- Good knowledge of MS office systems.

Shipping Director-A Global E-commerce BusinessKey Responsibilities:
Strategic Internal Consultancy- Evaluate current shipping products (e.g., expedited shipping, last-mile solutions, carrier partnerships) to identify gaps and opportunities aligned with business goals.
- Develop data-driven recommendations to enhance shipping product performance, customer experience, and profitability.
- Lead workshops and strategy sessions with stakeholders to align on priorities and implementation roadmaps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Advise Product Management teams on integrating shipping innovations into customer-facing features (e.g., real-time tracking, dynamic delivery options).
- Partner with Regional Logistics teams to localize shipping strategies, balancing global standards with regional compliance and customer expectations.

Project Leadership- Own end-to-end execution of high-impact initiatives, such as carrier diversification, sustainability programs, or AI-driven routing optimizations.

Compliance & Risk Management- Ensure shipping products comply with international trade regulations, customs protocols, and sustainability standards.
- Mitigate risks related to carrier performance, geopolitical disruptions, or cost volatility.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years in global e-commerce/logistics, with 3+ years in a strategic/internal consultancy role.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in shipping software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Flexport) and data tools (SQL, Tableau).

SSC GL Manager (Retail)Our client is a FMCG/RETAIL company with fast growing business. They are currently having 1 year project for their finance SSC GL Manager role.
Working with an emerging shared services organization, this position is responsible for monthly closing & reporting and directly reports to Finance Director.
Responsibility:
- Prefer having retail industry with GL leadership experience
- Had exposure to APAC region (Japan, Korea, GC, South East Asia, Aus, NZ)
- Has proactive attitude in work, rather than just waiting for routine workload
- Excellence English and hands on
- Familiar with Finance Shared Service KPIs. Able to analyse KPI and provide constructive improvement action plans.
- Be able to liaison among local markets, regional office and Global on business solution to operation team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance or CICPA qualification. Big Four audit/internal control experiences is preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years professional experience in Finance Shared Services and/or Global outsourcing environment.
- Minimum two (2) years SSC leadership role
- Experience in setting up a Shared Service and/or Global outsourcing and contact center organization, and managing a team is highly preferred.
- Good command in English language
- Solid skills in Microsoft office tool, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Willing to work under pressure
- Comfortable working in an unstructured start-up business environment in a matrix global organization with the ability to leverage resources from corporate headquarters and divisions.
- Analytical, problem solving, and change management skills
