Job Description Summary
As an Acoustics Engineer, you will join the System Simulation Organization and play a critical role in analyzing, designing and optimizing the acoustic performance of wind turbine systems, enhancing both product quality and customer satisfaction. Focusing on aerodynamic noise, you will collaborate with multiple engineering teams (especially Blade Design, Aerodynamics and Validation) and other designated experts across System Simulation to ensure that GE Vernova wind platforms meet their acoustic requirements. You will also design and conduct experimental tests on a regular basis to assess both airfoil-level and full-scale rotor performance, verify simulation results, identify noise source mechanisms and validate proposals for acoustic improvements.
