Senior Compensation Analyst - HR/Excel/Payroll

Location: Greenville, SC
Pay: $60-80K DOE
Schedule: Onsite Monday - Friday

Our client is a forward-thinking public organization committed to equitable compensation practices and robust HR systems. They are known for their emphasis on strategic compensation programs and data-driven decision making.

They are looking for you, an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst, to join their HR team in a full-time direct hire role. You'll play a key role in compensation structure, job classification, and performance management strategy.

What you get to do:

  • Evaluate and maintain accurate job classifications and FLSA determinations
  • Process payroll changes and manage incentive and tuition reimbursement programs
  • Conduct custom market salary studies and internal pay equity reviews
  • Support the creation and maintenance of salary structures and compensation systems
  • Coordinate employee performance evaluations and related reporting
  • Track and analyze HR metrics including turnover and exit interviews

What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, accounting, or related field required; Master's preferred
  • Over 4 years of experience in classification and compensation
  • Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, graphs, secondary axis usage)
  • Experience with payroll, HRIS systems, and compensation platforms
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
  • Valid SC Driver's License required
