Objective:

The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of dealer inventory data. This position is responsible for efficiently reviewing, verifying, and analyzing inventory records to support operational excellence. Key responsibilities include generating and evaluating detailed inventory reports, conducting thorough audits, and maintaining clear, professional communication with dealership personnel. Communication will occur through a variety of channels, including phone calls, virtual meetings, proprietary software applications, and periodic onsite audit visits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate will:

  • Work with the Inventory Manager, Sales Team and Dealers to verify current inventory as assigned.
  • Prepare reporting to highlight and research inventory discrepancies/missing assets and partner with Accounting, Sales, Legal, Retrievals, or dealers to resolve.
  • Monitor dealer's inventory via picture validation and update RTO tracking records accordingly.
  • Assist with adjusting inventory pricing based on guidelines given.
  • Answer dealer inquiries regarding inventory pricing and/or status.
  • Other duties as they may be assigned.

What you need:

  • Familiarity with inventory tracking software / web-based systems
  • Professionalism and dedication to upholding Company standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, ranging from small group discussion to large group presentation and communicate effectively in a customer-facing position with business partners at dealer lots.
  • Microsoft 365 Suite capabilities, specifically Excel experience in merging data, filters, and pivot tables.
  • Availability to take calls on some weekends

Qualifications:

Education: Four-year degree from an accredited college or university

Work Experience: 2+ years relevant inventory or audit experience
