Water/Wastewater Team Lead - South Carolina

Are you a seasoned engineering professional passionate about delivering impactful water infrastructure projects? We're seeking a Water/Wastewater Team Lead to join a growing team focused on technical excellence, proactive project delivery, and leadership across complex municipal water and wastewater initiatives in the South Carolina region.

In this role, you'll lead a team of engineers and technical staff, working closely with Project Managers to shape and execute the technical vision. Your expertise will directly support the planning, design, and implementation of critical infrastructure such as treatment facilities, pipeline systems, pump stations, and water resource projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to define project scope, schedule, and technical approach.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering staff and project teams.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client meetings, and presentations.
  • Develop and manage strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of the firm's presence in the South Carolina region.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a South Carolina PE license or the ability to obtain one
  • 15+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design and project leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage technical aspects of complex projects and mentor junior staff.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
