Reviews, interprets, and analyzes financial and statistical data for Management.
Prepares monthly general and standard journal entries, financial statements and comparative reports, monthlyaccount reconciliations, and cost reports.
Develops special reports and financial analyses as needed or requested for administration and finance. Analyzes financial reports and records to include in financial studies and various management reports. Reviews andverifiesfinancial reports prepared by other accountants for accuracy.
Oversees the coding and input of data to financial data processing system.
Serves as consultant regarding the hospital's financial affairs, development of operating policies and procedures,department needs and problems.
Interacts with outside auditors and participates in occasional auditing projects or provides information and access to general ledger and other accounting records as required.
Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for federal, state, or other regulatory agencies.
Attends meetings and participates on committees as directed. Represents the department at conferences, meetings, and working committees as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree inAccounting or related field of study.
Experience - Three (3) years accounting, finance or related experience
