Description:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Banquet Bartender to join the AC Hotel team in downtown Greenville. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at banquet events while providing exceptional service to guests. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Set up and break down the banquet bar according to event specifications.
  • Mix, garnish, and serve beverages following recipes and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner and respond to their beverage requests.
  • Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and follow proper procedures for handling intoxicated patrons.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with inventory control and report any shortages or overages.
  • Work closely with banquet servers and event staff to ensure seamless servic

Experience/Education
  • Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or catering setting.
  • Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • High School diploma preferred

Must be able to read, write and speak English
