Job Details

Promote Safety. . Operate Lowboy and Heavy Equipment. Operate haul trucks and other construction equipment to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, and/or operate a lowboy trailer for transporting equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Inspect Equipment. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Vulcan standards. Complete daily mobile equipment reports and other relevant documentation with accuracy. Must be able to handle and understand Department of Transportation regulations, keeping all documentation up to date. Maintain Equipment. Maintain equipment performance by checking vehicle fluid levels, and assist in performing other minor maintenance. Report unsafe mechanical conditions to supervisor. Monitor Processes, Materials, and Surroundings. Must have the ability to operate all types of heavy equipment to assist with the loading and unloading on the lowboy. Additional Responsibilities.
