This position plays a key role in both day-to-day operations and strategic HR initiatives, supporting our client's dynamic manufacturing workforce. Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources, this role will focus on enhancing HR processes, optimizing systems, and fostering an engaged and productive workplace.


Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and federal/state employment laws.
  • Serve as a key contact for employee relations issues, offering guidance and resolution with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Lead performance management initiatives, conflict resolution, and coaching of managers and employees.


Systems & Technology

  • Manage and optimize the HRIS (ADP), including integrations with bolt-on systems (PlanSource, iSolved).
  • Lead HRIS integration and implementation projects, ensuring data integrity and usability across platforms.
  • Utilize HR technology to improve efficiency and the overall employee experience.


Talent Management & Development

  • Drive onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth and welcoming new hire experience.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable pay structures.
  • Develop and execute succession planning strategies, identifying and growing internal talent.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to coordinate training and compliance initiatives.


Strategic HR Leadership

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends, providing actionable insights and reports to leadership.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals and workforce planning.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives and lead recognition programs and company events.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within HR programs and practices.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with HRIS platforms (ADP) and integration with third-party systems (e.g., PlanSource, iSolved).
  • Deep understanding of employee relations, compensation structure, and succession planning.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), onboarding workflows, and KPI development.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret HR data and drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements.
