Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

• Able to operate a variety of machine tools (i.e. Tig/Mig/Arc Welders, lathes, milling machines, etc.)
• Troubleshoot for problems during production.
• Verify conformance of machines or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances, and alignments.
• Follow safe work practices and company work procedures at all times.
• Maintain tooling Quality STD's and Preventative/Predictive Maintenance program to ensure compliance with QS9000 requirements
• Perform other duties as requires
• Able to work overtime as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Manufacturing Environment:
• 80% Standing and walking
• 20% Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, or balancing.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.

EDUCATION:

• Associates Degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school
• Tool and Die Maker with related experience/familiar with assembly tooling work. Completion of a 4 year Tool & Die apprenticeship program highly preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:

• 3-5 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good hand dexterity, mechanical skills, mathematical skills and organizational skills.
• Hemming die or clinch tool is preferred but not required
• Metrology experience is preferred but not required

Pay range: $29.51 - $38.21 per hour
