Job Title: General Manager

Position Overview:
As General Manager of a Millwork Company that services multiple regions in the Southeast, you will hold a critical role in the organization's growth and success. Your responsibilities involve strategic planning, goal setting, and overseeing operations related to millwork production.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership:
    • Provide strategic leadership for the millwork division, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of the company.
    • Improve growth of the business and expand into new markets.
    • Develop and implement business plans to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability in the millwork segment.
  2. Operations:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the millwork department, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
    • Champion the Innergy software and its implementation.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and reduce production costs.
    • Develop a Master Shop Schedule to ensure delivery to customers on time.
    • Collaborate with the office team to deliver Take-Off and Final Quotes for millwork.
  3. Production Management:
    • Manage and optimize production efficiency, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery of products.
    • Collaborate with production teams to streamline manufacturing processes and meet production targets.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for the millwork division, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
    • Work towards achieving financial targets and profitability goals.
  5. Quality Control:
    • Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.
    • Implement corrective actions for quality issues and continuously monitor processes for improvements.
  6. Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure safety and compliance standards are met and maintained at all times.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and training with staff.
  7. Team Development:
    • Build and lead a high performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, promoting professional growth and development.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Ten years' experience in a leadership role within the millwork industry or manufacturing setting.
• Experience in Innergy Software.
• In-depth knowledge of cabinetry manufacturing processes, materials, and industry trends.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency and achieving production targets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
