Description:

MAU is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and implement internal processes to ensure the safe production of high-quality products that meet compliance and project requirements. You will drive continuous improvement across product lines by managing project timelines, enhancing product quality, and addressing technical and process challenges. In this role, you will lead and collaborate with manufacturing and support teams to complete projects that meet EHS, production, quality, and cost-saving objectives, all while staying on schedule and within budget. This is a contract position with the potential for direct hire.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, OR
  • A high school diploma/GED with 4+ years of manufacturing experience

  • Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • In-depth expertise in complex, highly technical concepts within the function
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts in intersecting technologies
  • Hands-on experience working directly with equipment


Preferred Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in production processes, manufacturing, or equipment


Essential Functions:

  • Provide support for machining cells, including troubleshooting, improving equipment reliability, enhancing process rigor, managing tooling, and addressing minor programming needs
  • Manage projects and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with plant metrics
  • Lead and drive qualification processes as needed
  • Ensure all engineering designs and technical data meet customer CTQs (Critical to Quality) and compliance requirements
  • Develop and enhance technical work instructions for manufacturing processes
  • Maintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality within the assigned area
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve 5S methodology in the assigned areas to drive culture change
  • Provide technical support for NPI/Repair, focusing on processes, quality, and programs
  • Lead analytical and design activities using established technologies and methodologies
  • Mentor colleagues in the area of expertise
  • Develop new solutions under guidance or as part of a team, utilizing precedents within the organization
  • Communicate effectively across functions within the area of expertise
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
