As a Wastewater Technician, you will be a critical part of the production team, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are performing at top-notch! Your work will directly affect people's lives! Pay $24.72-$32.38/hr based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Operating and monitoring equipment or machinery

•Cleaning and maintaining equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work areas

•Collecting water and sewage samples, and performing laboratory tests

•Adding chemicals like chlorine or ammonia to disinfect water

•Recording meter and gauge readings, and documenting and reporting test results

•Ensuring safety standards are met and following U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations

•Wastewater operators may work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions. They may also be exposed to mechanical, electrical, explosive, fume, odor, dust, chemical, and toxic waste hazards.

Qualifications

•Prior experience highly recommended

•Class D or higher WWT License preferred
