Y3 Community Engagement VISTA

The Community Engagement VISTA Member will build the capacity of Sustaining Way by developing and implementing community outreach efforts for the Nicholtown and New Washington Heights historicaly marginalized communities in Greenville, SC. As a result of the VISTA Member's service, there will be an increased resident, volunteer, and partner engagement in SW programs, steering committees and events. Member Duties : The VISTA Member will work to increase community and partner engagement in SW programs by at least 20% YOY, help increase Sustainer members to 75, and help improve donor retention to 50%. They will also assess the current state of SW's efforts in reaching, selecting, and supporting volunteers, and create or revise policies, procedures, and documents to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of the volunteer recruitment and matching system. Increase total volunteer participation and retention by 50% (% retained YOY, total hours and # of people).
