Summary of Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Site Coordinator to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites, coordinating activities among contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
  • Monitor construction activities for compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures as necessary.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, including delays, resource allocation, and conflicts between subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and schedules.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication between all team members and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, site management, or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification and relevant construction-related certifications are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
