We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to present company products and services for LJ Smith Stair Systems to potential clients within the South Carolina and Western North Carolina regions. Retain current business, convert new customers, and identify future opportunities for continuous market share growth.

Pay range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus opportunity.

What will you do in this role?
• Develop existing and new sales approaches to grow and develop sales accounts to increase sales within their territory alongside fellows sales team members.
• Follow established company procedures for placing customer orders and adhering to pricing guidelines; recommends changes when necessary to achieve overall
company goals.
• Inform purchasing department of large upcoming sales and/or out-of-stock concerns in a timely manner and works to resolve customers' concerns in a timely
and amicable manner.
• Attain monthly budgeted sales goals and capability to project customer sales and gross margins.
• Report any necessary market intelligence on pricing and/or customer needs/special requests.
• Develop effective and collaborative working relationships with other Company Departments, Vendors, and Customers.
• Ability to properly process credits/returns, following up on any not fully shipped product, working to collect any overdue receivables.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and company directed processes are accurately adhered to.
• Actively attends and participates in sales meetings, product and service training, seminars, and trade shows; joining lumber/building material associations as
needed.
What are we looking for in a Territory Sales Manager?
• Previous sales experience with increasing revenue through current customers and developing a new customer base.
• Execution of Confidentiality & Non-Competition Agreement
• Valid un-restricted (other than for vision correction) driver's license with a proven good driving record
• Excellent time management skills, with the flexibility to work 50 hours per five-day work week, travel overnight, schedule travel to minimize travel time, schedule customer calls in clusters, schedule territory coverage efficiently, and spend maximum percent of the time in front of customers.
• Ability and willingness to utilize technology to enhance job performance.
• Stellar self-organization skills demonstrated by planning each day, week, and month, planning each call, keeping sales tools in mint condition, dressing neatly, maintaining a neat automobile, presenting a professional image representative of Novo's high standards, and continually systematically updating customer information.
• Conscientiousness in following established administrative procedures, including maintenance of customer information sheets and files, timely submission of credit applications for new accounts, call reports, sales plans, forecasts, customer targeting forms, monthly market updates, and expense reports.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Ability to operate effectively within established budgetary constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in the related field is preferred
• Effective English and Spanish communication skills, both oral and written, preferred
Travel Requirements
• Regular local travel within assigned territory may require overnight travel.
