Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer with a strong industrial background and Revit expertise to join a growing engineering team in Greer, SC (Augusta location may be considered). This is a 6-month contract-to-direct opportunity with a company specializing in chemical, heavy industrial, and manufacturing projects.

Position Highlights:

• Pay: $46-$62/hr (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday (9-hour shifts), Friday (4-hour shift)
• On-site position - No remote work
• Occasional travel to client sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Establish structural framing layouts and coordinate designs with engineers
• Collaborate with architectural, MEP, and civil engineering teams to ensure seamless integration
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, compliance, and completeness
• Identify design issues and propose effective solutions
• Provide guidance and training to junior designers

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of structural design experience in chemical, heavy industrial, or manufacturing industries
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Strong understanding of industry standards, drafting techniques, and structural design principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Minimal overtime expected (OT billed at 1.4x rate)
