****Position Summary****

The Supply Crib Attendant is responsible for maintaining inventory and the successful issue of parts for the maintenance department.

**Primary Responsibilities**

* Set up and restock inventory locations accurately and maintain minimal space usage. Cross reference parts to eliminate duplication.

* Issue required parts and be able to find substitute items when necessary.

* Document every issue and verify inventory accuracy.

* Maintain inventory control system by accurately inputting transactions. Review computer printouts on a daily basis to identify and correct problems from previous days input.

* Pack, crate and document shipments.

* Issue maintenance repair orders and maintain files of current status. Gather or order necessary parts for repairs and expedite repairs of items when necessary.

**Requirements and Minimum Education Level**

* High school diploma or GED required

* Previous work experience in parts and with purchase order/inventory systems preferred

* Must be able to operate a forklift

* Must be able to work efficiently and with minimal supervision
