**Description**

The primary responsibility will be to assist in the management of the tool supply crib located on the customers site. The main flow of supplies will be facilitated through the use of industrial vending solutions. We are seeking a motivated individual to coordinate customer needs, inventory management, productivity, and logistics. The position requires strong customer service, organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate must be trustworthy and able to work both independently and with a team.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday day shift.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Daily communication with the CSC Supervisor regarding short and long-term objectives

* Pull pick-outs for the jobs that are scheduled to run; inspects work holding for defects

* Reports any defects to supervisor immediately. pick outs are not issued until repairs are made

* Return tooling from the completed jobs to the proper location; ensure stickers on gages are legible and gages are in good condition

* Daily stocking of automated dispensing equipment, stockroom, and related virtual cribs.

* To assist the On-site Manager in trouble-shooting vending equipment

* Communication with customer regarding urgent or unexpected changes in demand and addressing

* Order entry and quotations in a CSR capacity as availability permits

* Receiving daily shipments for stock and spot-buys and processing in Prelude and AutoCrib accordingly

* General daily housekeeping of dispensing equipment, stockroom, and related areas

* Duties related to daily and weekly billing reports as directed by CSC Supervisor/CSC2

* Daily cycle counts of on hand inventory maintained in the Tool Crib

* Perform post-counts and correct any discrepancies for items put into tool crib

* Review open orders in inventory system to check past dues

* Collect, resolve, and maintain stock levels on the floor and adjust machines

* Evaluate tools for reuse and clear identification markings and remarks if needed

* Keeps all back-up tools sharpened for jobs in process and all tools for jobs that are complete sharpened

* Other duties as assigned

* Reports to the CSC Supervisor

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**

* Product background can be in any area of MRO commodities, but tooling would be a plus

* 2-year degree preferred but not required

* Prior experience running a Tool Room manual grinder

* Must be able to read and understand drawings

* Provides after hours support, if required (less than 5% of the time)

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

* Strong attention to detail

* Strong computer skills with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), inventory systems and report generation

* Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude

* Basic computer skills and experience using an ERP system a plus

* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills required.
